Use this flow when your organization already has a Buró de Crédito account, a Buró Empresas account, or both, and wants to request reports from Syntage with its own credentials. Your organization must finish the Buró approval process and configure its credentials in Syntage before it can request reports with its own account.

Prerequisites

  • Your organization has an active Buró de Crédito account for person reports, an active Buró Empresas account for company reports, or both.
  • Credit report access is enabled for your Syntage organization.
  • An administrator can configure Buró de Crédito or Buró Empresas credentials in Syntage.

1. Configure Buró credentials in Syntage

  1. Open the integration settings for the account you are configuring:
  2. Turn on Use your own credentials.
  3. Enter the Legal name exactly as it is registered with Buró. Entities see this name during the authorization process, and it must match the legal entity that holds the Buró account. Both integrations share the same legal name.
  4. If your organization is a SOFOM, make sure Use the authorization text for SOFOM is selected. It is selected automatically when the legal name declares SOFOM in its entity type, for example Acme, S.A.P.I. de C.V., SOFOM, E.N.R.. If you select it manually, the legal name must include SOFOM.
  5. Enter the Username and Password of your organization’s account.
  6. Click Save.
Contact your CSM if you need help confirming which credential values Buró provided for your account.

2. Get Buró approval for the authorization flow

Syntage’s digital authorization flow with NIP was developed with Buró de Crédito. Buró still needs to approve your organization before you use this flow with your own Buró de Crédito or Buró Empresas account. Syntage generates the document Buró asks for from your configuration: one slide per authorization step, with your branding, your legal name, and the authorization text your consumers will see.
  1. After you save your credentials, Syntage shows the link to your authorization flow. Click Copy link to share it, or Preview flow to open it.
  2. In the document, select the variant Buró needs: Persona Moral and Persona Física con Actividad Empresarial go to Buró Empresas, and Persona Física goes to Buró de Crédito.
  3. Send the link to your Buró advisor. If they need a file, click Descargar PDF in the document and send the PDF instead. Copy your CSM.
  4. Work with Syntage to answer any questions Buró has about the flow.
  5. Wait for Buró’s approval before using the flow in production.
You can open the document again later from Preview flow in the Use your own credentials section of the integration settings. That button is available only while your changes are saved and new extractions are allowed for that Buró. Until then, use the link from the dialog shown after saving.
If you change the legal name or the username, Syntage shows the link again after you save: send the updated flow to your advisor, because Buró needs to approve it again. Changing only the password does not require a new approval.

3. Request Buró reports

After the credentials are configured, your organization can request and view Buró reports in Syntage. The report is requested only after the entity or shareholder completes the authorization flow. Use Buró de Crédito credentials for person report products and Buró Empresas credentials for company report products. In the dashboard request flow, both are requested through the Buró de Crédito Report datasource and the selected report product type determines which configured credentials are used.

Audit evidence

Buró de Crédito may request evidence for a sample of report consultations, including consultations made with your Buró Empresas credentials. When the authorization was completed through the digital NIP flow, export the authorization evidence from Syntage.
  1. Open Buró de Crédito Authorizations.
  2. Use the export action, or the audit export action when Buró de Crédito requested an audit file.
  3. Send the exported evidence to Buró de Crédito according to its audit instructions.

Commercial terms

The Buró Conexión subscription enables the connection between your Buró de Crédito or Buró Empresas account and your Syntage organization. Report consultation costs are still paid directly to Buró de Crédito. Contact your CSM for current subscription pricing, report limits, and additional report costs.
